7 Machine Washing Mistakes Everyone Makes

1 – TOO MUCH BLEACH

Bleach makes clothes less durable. You should first follow this advice from your grandmother: boil the clothes in a large saucepan with a few drops of lemon.

2 – POUR TOO MUCH LAUNDRY

If you use too much detergent, your laundry will be poorly rinsed and risk being damaged and having stains. The detergent may get stuck in your machine and the seal will rot.

3 – LOAD THE MACHINE TO THE MAX

Better to use less, the water and the detergent will be able to do their job of washing and rinsing, the laundry will be washed correctly.

4 – DO NOT CLEAN YOUR WASHING MACHINE

Many people make this mistake but if you don’t clean your washing machine regularly how do you expect your laundry to be clean? To clean it, pour two glasses of white vinegar and turn to high temperature. All you have to do is try the porthole and the seal with the clean lanyard and that’s it.
5 – THE USE OF COSTLY PRODUCTS
All the products we are used to using often have their economic equivalent: salt restores color to clothes, chalk removes grease stains, and lemon juice can be used to perfume and soften clothes.
6 – MIX THE COLORS
Your white t-shirt comes out grayish or even slightly greenish because all the colors have been mixed, this can happen. Be especially wary of new clothes, they are the ones that bleed the most. To avoid these disappointments, wash white and very light laundry only without anything else, even if it means using smaller machines.
7 – LEAVE THE LAUNDRY IN THE MACHINE
It goes without saying that if you leave the laundry in the machine, even if it is clean, the bacteria will develop at high speed, generating bad odors, which are difficult to remove unless you rewash them!
